The story began in 2016. Back then, the German cannabis scene was just starting to take shape. Mary Jane Berlin launched with a clear mission: bring together the people who grow, shape, study, and love the plant.

Since then, it’s grown from a modest expo into an international event. One that connects producers, consumers, researchers, and regulators from across Europe and beyond.

Each year brings a new wave of exhibitors, speakers, and experiences. And each edition reflects the same thing: the cannabis movement in Europe is here to stay.

The numbers speak for themselves. In 2024, over 40,000 visitors and 400 exhibitors filled Messe Berlin. In 2025, that number is expected to hit a record-breaking 60,000.

What makes it unique? It’s not just an industry fair—it’s a full experience. You’ll find food courts with hemp-infused snacks, live DJ sets, lounges, networking spaces, interactive booths, and cannabis products of every kind: from edibles and oils to vaporizers, fashion, cosmetics, and high-tech grow tools.

Looking Ahead: What’s Coming in 2025?

This year is shaping up to be the biggest edition yet. Here’s what to expect:

• A diverse music lineup, mixing reggae, hip hop, electro, and chill sets—curated for the perfect festival atmosphere.
• The International Cannabis Business Day, hosted in partnership with Prohibition Partners, bringing together top voices from the global cannabis scene.
• A forward-thinking Cannabis Conference, with talks on AI in cultivation, cannabis and mental health, sustainability, and changing EU regulations.
• More interactive experiences: live product demos, tasting zones, workshops, and innovation showcases across the venue.
